CYDES 2020 will be the first ever show in the country to showcase advanced solutions and technologies to address cyber defence and cyber security challenges for the public and private sectors with the objective of protecting key critical national infrastructures, including BANKING & FINANCE, EMERGENCY SERVICES, ENERGY, FOOD & AGRICULTURE, GOVERNMENT, HEALTH SERVICES, INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS, NATIONAL DEFENCE & SECURITY, TRANSPORTATION and WATER.

CYDES is fully supported by the Malaysian Government as a National Event. The event is co-organised, hosted and supported by the National Security Council (NSC, Majlis Keselamatan Negara) and NACSA(Agensi Keselamatan Siber Negara) and will be in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications & Multimedia, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, the Malaysian Armed Forces and Royal Malaysia Police.
